A local community organisation are to host an evening information in a bid to help local householders save on their energy costs.
Moville Tidy Towns have collaborated with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) to deliver a free home energy grant information evening.
The event will take place on October 12th at 6.00pm in St Eugene’s Hall. A representative from SEAI will go through the available grants, how to apply and there will also be a Q&A session.
All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Local residents who already have renewable technology installed in their homes will provide some of their own feedback and tips.
We also invited Donegal County Council to speak to the available energy/insulation upgrades available for social housing but they unfortunately declined.
Social housing residents are encouraged to reach out to Donegal County Council directly for any information on retrofit programs.
