Two men have been arrested following a horrific stabbing at a funeral in Tralee, Co. Kerry on Wednesday.
Thomas Dooley, aged in his 40s, died after he was attacked yesterday afternoon on the grounds of Rathass Cemetery in Tralee.
His wife, aged in her 40s, was also injured in the attack and is being treated in hospital.
Gardaí have confirmed that two men were arrested this morning in relation to the assault.
One of the men, who is in his early 40s, was arrested this afternoon in Cork city. He is detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Tralee Garda Station.
A second man arrested earlier in Cork this morning, who is in his 30s, is also being questioned by detectives in Tralee.
