A Donegal school has lodged plans which will usher in a new era if granted.
Ilistrin National School has lodged the ambitious plans with Donegal County Council.
The application includes the demolition of parts of the current school and the building of 16 new classrooms in a two storey facility.
Also included in the plans includes offices, store rooms and toilets as well as 40 car parking spaces for staff members.
Among the plans include the refurbishment of part of the existing school for a special education unit.
A decision on the proposed development is due on November 27th.
