Both Letterkenny and Ballyshannon Garda stations are to host open days this weekend.
This will be a chance for the public to get a “behind the scenes” look at the workings of Garda stations.
The Open Day at Letterkenny Garda Station will take place on Saturday the 8th of October between the hours of 12pm and 4pm. A sensory hour (when lights and sirens will not be used) will take place between 11am and 12pm.
The Open Day at Ballyshannon Garda Station will take place on Sunday the 9th of October between the hours of 1pm and 4pm. A sensory hour will take place between 12pm and 1pm.
As well as the mounted unit, the dog unit will also be present as well as a host of other surprises.
