Ten deaths confirmed in Creeslough tragedy – Men, women and children among fatalities

Gardaí have confirmed that ten people have died in the Creeslough tragedy.

Four men, three women, two teenagers and a young girl have lost their lives in the service station explosion.

Gardaí said emergency services do not expect any more casualties at the scene. No one else is unaccounted for.

Garda Superintendent Liam Geraghty confirmed the latest update on the search and recovery operation this Saturday afternoon.

Gardaí and Emergency Services remain at the scene of the blast at the Applegreen service station.

An Garda Síochána continue to request that any road users intending to travel to the Creeslough area for any reason consider alternative routes as Emergency Services continue to deal with this ongoing incident.
