Funeral details have been confirmed for Martin McGill, who tragically lost his life in the Creeslough incident on Friday.

Martin, aged 49, was an avid Celtic fan and a devoted son.

Originally from Scotland, Martin had moved to Donegal to care for his elderly mother. He was well-known in the community and local pharmacist Fergus Brennan recalled Martin visiting Brennan’s pharmacy regular as he cared for his parents.

It is understood that Martin had visited the Applegreen store to withdraw cash from an ATM when the tragic events occurred.
