A kindhearted local woman who opened her beautiful rose garden has raised more than €500 for charity.
Nora’s Rose Garden is situated at 85 Blue Cedars, Ballybofey, and was opened for three days back in July.
“The season’s closed for this year and will reopen again for next year. A cheque for €550 has been given to my preferred charity SVP. Thanks all for donating,” Nora Singh said this week.

Ably assisted by her husband, Jeet, her bright and colourful garden attracts hundreds of visitors every year.
It has been described as a ‘gem of a rose garden on a modern housing development’.
This year, Nora wanted to gift all visitors’ donations to the local branch of St Vincent de Paul.
