One of the volunteer organisations at the centre of last Friday’s rescue operation in Creeslough has paid tribute to the victims.
As a mark of respect, Mulroy Coast Guard is also flying flags at half-mast at their Downings headquarters.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the ten people who tragically lost their lives in Creeslough on Friday. We are thinking of the people who are also recovering in hospital,” a spokesperson for the organisation said.
“We offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends who lost their loved ones and to the whole community at this sad time.
“As a mark of respect, and to show our solidarity with our friends and neighbours, our flag will fly at half mast during these difficult days ahead.”
