A car used to ram a police car in Derry earlier this week was using number plates stolen from Donegal.
On Monday afternoon, two police officers escaped without injury after their patrol car was rammed by a black Audi A4 in the Galliagh area.
A woman and child, while not injured, were left badly shaken after being involved in a separate collision with the Audi.
One man has since been arrested and charged.
Police have confirmed that they seized the Audi on Monday and found it to be bearing stolen plates and wind deflectors which were stolen in Donegal the same day.
