A man has died following a tragic road collision in Carrigart this morning.
The man, aged in his 40s, was the driver of a car involved in a single-vehicle crash on the R245 road between Carrigart and Cranford.
He sadly passed away from his injuries.
The collision occured just before 8am, gardaí confirmed.
A technical examination of the scene is currently underway by Forensic Collision Investigators. The road remains closed at this time with diversions in place.
