The 2022 Junior Cert results will be issued on Wednesday 23 November, it has been confirmed.
The State Examinations Commission confirmed the date today after much speculation over the delays.
About 68,000 students have been waiting for their results, four months after sitting the exams.
But a shortage of examiners, priority on the Leaving Cert exams and adjustments to marks had a knock-on effect on the Junior Cert markings.
The SEC said that marking is still ongoing in a small number of Junior Cert subjects.
This year’s Junior Cycle results will be available in schools on Wednesday 23 November 2022. Candidates can also access their results online from 4pm on that date.
