Happy retirement wishes are coming in from near and far for Buncrana-based Detective Sergeant Martin Egan as he retires after 30 years on the force.

Sergeant Egan served the Buncrana community throughout most of his career, and the younger generation has big boots to fill now that he is putting his feet up.

His colleagues said: “We wish you a long, healthy and happy retirement Martin with your family. Time to enjoy a well deserved rest!”
