It was a night of nostalgia for former ESB staff at Dorrian’s Hotel in Ballyshannon recently.

Former employees of the company and others gathered to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its River Erne Generating Stations at Cliff and Cathaleen’s Fall in Ballyshannon.

As part of the event there was the official opening of an art and photographic exhibition depicting the construction and history of the Erne Scheme.
