Logistics Planner
Job Ref No: SD/LP/10/22
The Role:
To receive customer orders, plan deliveries of raw materials and organise production and delivery schedules to ensure an efficient service to the customer.
- Process all customer orders accurately through the ERP Scheme;
- Organise the planning of delivery schedules to ensure that all customers receive their order within agreed timescales;
- Organise goods inwards using contracted or own haulage;
- Liaise with Transport Manager in relation to production scheduling;
- Maintain lines of communication between customers and our delivery team.
The Person:
- A good knowledge of the Geography of Ireland;
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Products;
- Well organised team player with excellent communication skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team;
- Excellent customer service skills to deal with colleagues, customers and third parties.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Previous experience of working in the agricultural sector.
