A terrific battle between Four Masters and Termon needed extra time in this hotly-contested Minor semi-final at Mac Cumhaill Park.
However, it was the Donegal Town side who prevailed and can thank sub Conor McCahill who chipped in with a goal and a point in extra time to help them snatch victory.
The Termon lads fluffed their lines in the first half missing a penalty and needed two late points to level the game at the end of normal time as the teams ended 1-7 each.
Oran Gallagher had netted at the very start of the second half to put Four Masters into the driving seat but Termon kept plugging away and deserved a second bite in extra time.
However, McCahill’s goal and point in extra time was enough to put four points of daylight between the sides at the final whistle.
Daniel McIntyre could have made it an even more impressive read on the scoreboard for Masters but his effort was blocked.
Four Masters now face Glenswilly in what promises to be a cracking minor final.
