The Donegal County committee are set to meet tonight in Convoy as the names of Paddy Carr and Aidan O’Rourke will be up for ratification for the Donegal senior team job.
The names of Carr and O’Rourke were only mentioned last week following speculation that Rory Kavanagh had withdrawn from the race.
Carr, from Fanad, played for Donegal and has managed at club and county level and has went for the Donegal job before.
Carr won the All-Ireland Senior Club Championship with Kilmacud Crokes and managed the Louth senior team in 2002 and Meath minor team.
O’Rourke, an All-Star and All-Ireland winner with Armagh in 2002, also managed Louth from 2012 to 2014 and has managed the Armagh minor team.
