Church doors and donation boxes damaged during break-in

Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at a south Donegal church on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred sometime between 11am and 3:30pm at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles.

Garda Sean Sweeney said the church was open at the time and the culprits caused damage to candle boxes as well as the sacristy doors.
