Job Vacancy: Aurivo in Killygordon are seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract.

Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in a wide range of activities including dairy  processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing and sports nutrition.

In Aurivo, our values define how we operate, employing over 650 people directly and providing employment for many others in wide range of activities including  transport & distribution. 

Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will manage Despatch and the production of 2litre and 3litre milk. 

This role is a temporary role and represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to  progress and develop within one of Ireland’s leading multi discipline Co-operatives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Day to day effective management of the team.  
  • Drive safe and efficient production and despatch that meets our quality standards
  • Ensuring GMP/Housekeeping are at a high level within the area through the involvement of  all team members 
  • Monitor, deliver and report against site metrics and KPI’S  
  • Work collaboratively with other departments on site and our logistic contractors 
  • Carry out essential administration duties, including Time and Attendance system, holiday  planning, staff training, staff appraisals. 

The ideal candidate will have 

    • Excellent communication and team leading skills 
    • Ability to delegate 
    • Ability to work well as part of a team and own with minimum supervision 
    • Attention to detail and adherence to SOP’s  
    • A flexible approach regarding hours of work is essential 
    • Ability to live and deliver on Aurivo’s values of Trust, Team, Will to Win and Value
