A large collection of fireworks has been seized in Donegal ahead of this Halloween weekend.
Gardaí uncovered the fireworks during a search operation in Inishowen yesterday (Friday).
The search took place under the ‘Operation Tombola’ campaign to tackle the illegal use of fireworks before Halloween.
The sale, possession or use of fireworks in Ireland is illegal without a licence.
“Let’s all have a safe Halloween together,” a spokesperson said.
