A weather warning is in place today for localised flooding around the country with heavy rain forecast.
Met Éireann has issued a nationwide Status Yellow rain warning, with the forecaster saying heavy rain may lead to “localised flooding and some disruption”.
The warning came into effect at 6am and will remain in place until midnight.
The Met Office has also issued a Status Yellow warning for counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry.
That warning comes into effect at 7am, and will be in place until 10pm, with a warning that flooding may impact travel.
