A kind American-based Donegal woman has raised almost €20,000 for the victims of the Creeslough disaster.
Falcarragh native Michelle Doherty, who resides in New York, is pictured (on left) presenting a cheque to Creeslough Community Association members Majella McFadden and Mairead McGinely.
Michelle took part in her first Dublin Marathon last weekend and raised an amazing €18,650 for the Creeslough Community Fund.
Michelle’s cousin, Aíne, is married to Frankie Gallagher, nephew of the late Hughie Kelly, one of the ten victims of the tragedy.
“We are grateful to you and to all who have donated to your fundraiser in support of the Creeslough Community Fund,” an association member told Michelle.
