Jewellery stolen during raid on Killygordon house

Gardai are searching for a burglar after a quantity of jewellery was stolen in a raid on a house in Killygordon.

The break-in happened at the house in the townland of Mullingar between 5.15pm and 7.15pm on Thursday last, November 3rd.

A rear window in the house had been left ajar and the burglar gained entry.

The raider ransacked the house before making off with a quantity of jewellery.

Among the items taken was three gold ladies bracelets and a gold brooch.

There was also damage caused to an outside light during the break-in.
