Donegal’s Viking Dippers have whipped off their trunks for a cheeky calendar and a good cause.
Paddy Browne, his father-in-law Bobby Roberts and their pal Frank Power are well known for their dips around Downings and fantastic fundraising, but this time they’re baring all to bring attention to beach litter.
The trio took to Murder Hole Beach recently to pose for the ‘Flossie and The Beach Cleaners’ 2023 calendar.
Each of them is wearing nothing but a piece of rubbish/pollution that they have collected from the beaches or pulled out of the sea.
Paddy told Donegal Daily: “Well we always wanted to be calendar guys so when the opportunity arose we couldn’t turn it down. And of course it was for a wonderful cause.”

The calendar covers 3 very important issues: ocean pollution, the beauty of Ireland and humour.
Flossie and The Beach Cleaners is a marine environmental charity that focuses on cleaning the beaches nationally to protect the marine life alongside junior and senior school workshops on plastic pollution and climate change. This charity was formed due to the vision of Flossie Donnelly who is now 15 years old and fully involved with the charity when she is not at school.
All of the models on the calendar are sea swimmers and refugees from all around Ireland and have extreme love for the sea and our planet, that’s why they agreed to do it.
The proceeds of the calendar go to the charity Flossie and The Beach Cleaners so that they can continue their workshop education as well as their mission to clean the oceans and seas of plastic pollution.
The calendar will be on sale from 10th November and you can pre-order now on www.flossieandthebeachcleaners.com
Calendar cost: €15.00
