Work began this week on a brand new community park for Bruckless.
The contractor, Michael McGinley, has taken over the site and is currently busy there thanks to funding from Donegal County Council.
When completed, the area will have a Sensory Garden, picnic benches, grass play area and gravel paths to enjoy alongside the existing children’s playground.
For those of you familiar with the plans, which are displayed in Bruckless Community Centre, you will notice the committee had to make some changes and leave some areas undeveloped due to budget limitations (the longer walking pathway and railway area).
Hopefully these areas can be completed in the future should they be successful with securing further funding.
“Exciting to see a new public area being developed which can be used by everyone in our community,” a spokesperson for the group said.
