People in the south Donegal area are being asked to keep a look out on the coastline for missing pensioner Seamus McNulty.
Mr McNulty has been missing from the Bundoran area for more than a week.
It’s believed he may have entered the water at the foot of Roguey Cliffs via Bundoran Beach West End.
Mr McNulty’s family are urgently appealing to members of the public who may be in the area today (Thursday) to keep a close eye on the coastline, doing so safely with the human eye or with binoculars.
The family is also appealing to fishermen and surfers to keep an eye out whilst in the water.
Gardaí, Boyne Valley Rescue, the RNLI and family friends and members of the community are continuing the extensive search.
Last weekend, Gardaí at Ballyshannon issued an appeal for information about Mr McNulty who was last seen in Bundoran on November 2 at around 5.05pm.
He is described as approximately 5’ 7” in height, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a three-quarter length hooded duffle coat, grey trousers and black trainers/shoes. He was also wearing glasses.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Seamus McNulty is asked to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071 9858530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
