Conor to make another ‘sweet’ Christmas for Donegal Hospice!

A kindhearted young Carrigans boy will again make it a ‘sweet’ Christmas for the Donegal Hospice.

Last year Conor McCready (10) raised more than €1,000 for the charity with his beautiful, handmade edible festive sleighs.

Not one to sit back on his 2020 achievements, he is already back in the chocolate factory to make more delights for the hospice and his local Ballougry Primary School.

Of course, Conor expanded the operation this year, adding hot chocolate treats and little decorated Coke bottles to the mix.

A selection of Conor’s delicious delights.

He decided to raise the money for Donegal Hospice last year in memory of his Nanna Doherty  and Granny McCcready.

“The hospice helped to care for them at home and both passed away in the hospice too,” proud mum Carol told Donegal Daily.

“He is just a very caring boy that does a lot for others, and is always thinking of others.”

Conor is also a star for Kildrum Tigers and is a massive Liverpool supporter.

Anyone who wants to order one of his handcrafted treats can do so by contacting Carol McCready via her Facebook page or by texting 0879586683.

As he has to buy the materials himself, the family would also appreciate any sponsorship.
