WINTER weather is well and truly here… as council gritters are being dispatched on their first run of winter 22/23 this evening.
Temperates are forecast to drop to lows of 1 to 5 Celsius and “a touch of frost in places”, according to Met Eireann.
Nine routes will be treated in Donegal from 9pm and a number of routes will also be treated from 6am tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
The following routes will be treated tonight:
- 03: National Primary South
- 04: Inishowen South
- 05: Inishowen East
- 06: Inishowen West
- 07: Milford South
- 08: Milford North
- 09: Cill Ulta East
- 10: Cill Ulta West
- 11: Na Rosa
- 13: Stranorlar North
- 15: Stranorlar West
- 16: Donegal West
- 17: Donegal North
- 18: Donegal South
- 19: Donegal National Secondary
- BT: Buncrana Town Council
Routes to be gritted from 6am Wednesday 16th November:
