She dedicated much of her life helping those less well-off than herself in the Donegal Hospice.
And now, even since her passing in June of this year, Carrie Harvey is still contributing to her community and her people.
Letterkenny woman Carrie (nee Coyle) did more than most to assist those who found themselves in the hospice in their final days.
Her fundraising and work ethic was legendary.
And last week her sons Andrew and Darren helped continue that legacy by presenting Donegal Hospice staff with a cheque for an incredible €6,505 (pictured above).
The money was raised through a fundraising dance in the Station House Hotel in Carrie’s memory.
Deirdre Trearty and Clair Coffey accepted the kind donation to ensure the amazing work of the hospice continues.
