It’s a big night for Glenswilly National School pupil Leah Crossan.

And it’s not just because it’s the Late Late Toy Show night.

A popular sixth class pupil at the school, Leah won an art competition with a first prize of switching on the Christmas lights in Letterkenny this evening.

Leah will be joined by her family including parents Karol and Linda, in lighting up the Cathedral Town for the festive season.

Principal of Glenswilly NS, Joesph Gallinagh said he was delighted for Leah and her family in having the honour to switch on the lights.

“Leah is a very popular pupil and has a great love for the arts and is over the moon to be switching on the lights in Letterkenny.

“Well done to all the entrants and those who promote the arts in Donegal,” he said.
