Gardai are searching for a car involved in a hit and run outside a church in Ramelton on Wednesday last.

The owner of a car, a white Kia Sportage, parked on the Tank Road came out of mass and noticed their car had been damaged.

The incident happened between 7pm and 7.30pm at Str Mary’s Church.

A lot of damage was caused to the panels all along the driver’s side of the car and Gardai believe it was struck by another vehicle who then drove off.

Anybody who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.
