The Diamond in Donegal Town is the place to be tonight (Thurs) when the Christmas lights are officially switched on.
There will be music and laughter galore as the countdown to Christmas officially begins at 6pm when the switch is thrown to light up the town.
Members of the Donegal Town Community Chamber CLG have been working hard in the background in recent weeks to get ready for this evening’s festivities.
The Chamber thanked the many local businesses who have contributed in any way in helping to ensure the town is lit up to make this a special time of the year.
And they have asked all locals to continue to ensure that they consider shopping locally this year to support those local shops and businesses.
