Funeral details announced for Ballyshannon man following tragic accident

Tributes have been paid to Mr Michael Ward following his sudden passing in a road incident on Thursday.

Mr Ward was fatally injured when his tractor overturned on the roadside at Corlea outside Ballyshannon.

He was the eighth person to die on Donegal’s roads this year.

Funeral Mass for Mr Ward will take place tomorrow, Sunday, in his native Cashelard.

He is mourned by his brother PJ, nephews Tony (Rachael) and Gary (Claire) and all his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Maggie Ann.

Reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon F94 ED21, Friday, from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday, from 6pm to 9pm. Removal from John McGee & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday morning to St. Mary Church, Cashelard, for 10am funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Private Please.
