Students of Loreto Letterkenny won the ISTA senior science national competition in Trinity College, Dublin.
The team of Kristen Orhue Obanor, Aimee Bonar and Lakshmi Shaji took the trophy home yesterday.
The girls won the regional final in Donegal Town in November where they were posed questions from the Leaving Certificate Biology, Chemistry & Physics courses, as well as general science knowledge and news content.
And following their success, the three girls went to the national final, winning again at the TSBI building in Trinity College.
Their Science teachers are Ms. Margaret O’ Reilly and Mrs. Nicola Mc Partland.
