Letterkenny Gardaí were earlier today involved in a low-speed chase involving a number of sheep.

The pursuit ended when the hungry animals discovered a grassy green in a local estate.

“A number of sheep are loose in the area of Glencar Scotch, Letterkenny, and we ‘wooly’ need your help to send them home, wagging their tails behind them,” a garda spokesperson said.

If ‘ewe’ are the owner, you may give Letterkenny Garda Station a bleat on 074-9167100.
