Teen recovering after being knocked down in Letterkenny

A teenage girl is recovering in hospital after being knocked down in Letterkenny this morning.

The incident happened at Sentry Hill at 8.45am during the school rush hour.

The young girl was struck by a car and is bieng treated for non life-threatening injuries.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at approximately 8.45am this morning 7th December 2022 on Sentry Hill Road, Letterkenny. Co. Donegal.

“A pedestrian, aged in her teens, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to be treated for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries. The road is open.”
