Rathmullan-based singer-songwriter Carol Wilson has just released an uplifting new Christmas single.

The song is called ‘Stars’ and has an atmospheric and magical feel to it. It is about someone who was seeking fulfilment outside of themselves for a long time, but who has now realised the true value of themselves and of others – just as they are.

Carol says: “A lot of my released music has been quite sorrowful until now – but this song came to me recently and I thought it would be the perfect uplifting song for Christmas. It’s been a tough few months for everyone, so I wanted to release a song that was positive, inspiring and uplifting.”

Carol has to date released five singles and one album and is currently working on her second album. She wrote the film score for the short film ‘Woodlands in Fanad’ and featured vocals on Niall Gallen’s emotive song ‘Heaven Can Wait’ earlier this year.

‘Stars’ is out now on all platforms and you can find Carol on all socials under ‘Carol Wilson Music’.
