Irish Water and Donegal County Council have issued an immediate Boil Water Notice for customers supplied by Rosses Regional Public Water Supply.
Due to the current weather conditions the Rosses Regional Public Water Supply is at risk due to operational and mechanical difficulties at the water treatment plant.
They have since consulted with the Health Service Executive (HSE) and following this consultation have agreed that a Boil Water Notice should be imposed.
This notice applies to all consumers on the Rosses Regional Public Water Supply as indicated by the attached map and who must now boil water before use. A map of the scheme, detailing the area affected, is also available on www.water.ie.
