Donegal’s Dr. McKenna Cup fixtures have been confirmed as they begin with a trip away to Down.
Paddy Carr and Aidan O’Rourke’s first game in charge sees them travel to Páirc Esler on Sunday 8th January, with throw-in at 1.30pm.
They have a quick turnaround when they welcome Monaghan to MacCumhaill Park on Wednesday 11th January, with throw-in at 7.30pm in what is a rematch of last years final.
Donegal were defeated by a point against the Farney side in Healy Park in last year’s final, after three wins over Down, Antrim and Derry.
From the three groups, each group winner goes into the semi-final, along with the best second placed team, due to play the semi-finals on the weekend of January 14/15, while the final is due to be played on Saturday the 21st.
