A Letterkenny student has issued an appeal for the return of their bike which was believed to be stolen this morning.

The bike was taken from the Windy Hall road this Thursday morning at around 10.30am.

The owner had left it for 15 minutes to take a photo, but when they returned it was gone.

“I only think that it was stolen by someone driving a car/van because no one was walking on the mostly deserted road,”  they said.

“I am a student from ATU and the bike is very useful to move around in Letterkenny town.”

The theft has been reported to gardaí in Letterkenny. If you have any information please contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
