Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for Donegal and many other counties tonight due to dense fog.
The fog is expected to cause poor visibility and treacherous conditions for road users.
The status yellow alert is in place until 5am on Friday morning.
Tonight will also be cold and mostly dry tonight with clear spells and lowest temperatures of 0 to 2 degrees with frost in places.
