Parishioners in Crossroads, Killygordon are to thank their local priest for all his services since 2016.

Fr Frankie Lynch is to take up a new position in Tallaght in Dublin shortly.

But not before local mass-goers show their appreciation for all his work.

A collection will take place at 6pm mass this evening (Sat) and 10am mass tomorrow (Sun) with all proceeds going to Fr Frankie.

A spokesperson said “We are going to use this opportunity to thank Fr Frankie for all his work in our Parish from 2016 and especially all the support that he provided during the pandemic as well as wishing him well with his new appointment in Tallaght.”
