A number of people have been hospitalised following a crash on the outskirts of Falcarragh yesterday.

The crash happened between two cars at 3pm on the Glenveagh to Mt Errigal road at the turn off for Muckish at Devlin, Falcarragh.

One of the cars had been travelling from Dunlewey towards Letterkenny and the other had been travelling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred.

The occupants of both cars were taken to Letterkenny University hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who travelled on the Glenveagh to Mount Errigal Road around that time who had a dash cam, to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anybody witnessed the collision, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
