Donegal cyclist Odhrán Doogan will ride for French team CC Villeneuve Saint-Germain this year.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a successful 2022, getting selected for the Irish U23 team for the European Road Championships in Portugal, as well as for competitions in France and Luxembourg, and riding for Ireland on the track as a junior.
Doogan started his cycling as a youth rider with Donegal-based Errigal CC before moving on to Powerhouse Sport as a junior rider. In 2022 he rode for the Irish senior team of Caldwell Cycles.
Doogan will attend a training camp with his new team, who are based in Northern France, before the season begins which will see him get to experience a season of elite racing in France.
