The Letterkenny Rotary Club raised over €9,000 through their Christmas Tree Appeal this year.

The club raised the funds for charities such as St. Vincent De Paul and the Creeslough Tragedy fund.

The funds were raised in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre at the Christmas Tree of Remembrance.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Thanks to every person that donated and popped to the tree to say hello!

“There will be a Church Service for the dedication of Ribbons on Sunday 8th January at 3pm in the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny.

“Everyone is welcome and there will a cup of tea afterwards.”
