There will be ‘very strong’ winds today along the Donegal coast, according to Met Éireann.
It will also be windy inland, with fresh or strong and gusty southwest winds developing.
It will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle at times, with some dry periods too.
Rain will clear shortly after dark with clear spells and scattered showers following for the evening.
Afternoon highs of 9 to 11 degrees.
It will remain windy with strong winds overnight, strongest in Donegal. There will be clear spells and occasional showers.
The showers will die out overnight. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees. Winds will ease shortly before dawn.
