Gallery: Students ‘have a ball’ raising funds for Donegal Hospice

ATU Donegal students have proudly presented €1,185 to Donegal Hospice after a fun Student Winter Charity Ball.

The glamorous event was organised by ATU Donegal International Office and the Student Union on the 16th of December 2022 at Radisson Blu Letterkenny. €5 per ticket sold was given to Donegal Hospice.

Local businesses including Kebab Express, Future Style Barbers, Letterkenny Cabs, County Dry Cleaners, KO Fitness, An Grianan Theatre, Yellow Pepper, Stateside Restaurant, and Bamboo Foods came forward to sponsor the event with Bamboo Foods being the main sponsor.

All 210 attendees, including students and staff, were given sunflower brooches from the Donegal Hospice to highlight the great cause of the evening.

There were games such as tumbling blocks, mini arcades and even a photo booth with props.

Donegal Hospice had organised for a raffle with the first prize being a gift hamper worth €150 followed by a €100 KO fitness voucher, €60 Bamboo foods voucher, €50 Lidl voucher, and €50 Yellow pepper voucher. Other prizes such as best dressed male, best dressed female, best shoes, best headgear were also given out.

DJ OisBosh was the DJ for the night and, he had everyone on the dance floor until the end of the event.
