Heartless thieves have stolen a fill of oil from a church.

Gardaí in Buncrana are investigating the recent theft of the oil from a tank at Knowehead Presbyterian Church in Derryvane, Muff.

The tank was filled in recent weeks and when a check was carried out yesterday (Mon) it was empty.

A Garda spokesperson said “We appeal to anybody who may have observed any sort of suspicious activity in or around the Church grounds in recent times to make contact with Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
