Innovative students from Donegal are among those participating in this year’s BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition.
The 59th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition opens to the public today on Thursday 12th until Saturday 14th January.
Among the investigations launched by Donegal students is the possibility and profitability of introducing Donegal to the Irish national rail network. This study is being taken by Abbey VS pupils.
A team from St Columba’s Comprehensive School are investigating Donegal heather honeys vs Maunka honey, while a Coláiste Cholmcille project asks is napping is a clever use of your time or a complete snooze fest?
This year’s exhibition has over 1,100 school students taking part, alongside hundreds of primary students who are participating in the Primary Science Fair.
