Sean McGinley has started 2023 in super form as he was crowned the National U23 Men’s 1500m champion.
The Finn Valley AC athlete stormed to victory at the Sport Ireland National Indoor Arena in Dublin today.
The Glenswilly native was clear from second placed Colin Smith of Mullingar Harriers and Patrick Noonan of Craughwell AC.
McGinley rounded off 2023 with a European Silver as part of the Irish U23 side as he finished 12th in the European Cross Country Championships in Italy.
