Two primary schools in Inishowen have announced they are to remain closed tomorrow (Tuesday 17th January) due to weather conditions.
Snowfall and ice are impacting Inishowen tonight, leading to treacherous conditions on many local roads.
Scoil Naomh Brid Muff and Scoil Naomh Fionán Whitecastle Quigley’s Point have issued notices to confirm they will remain closed tomorrow.
Quigleys Point Community Playgroup will be closed tomorrow Tuesday 17th January.
Foyle Coaches Redcastle will not be operating school buses tomorrow morning, Tuesday. The company said: “With conditions likely to deteriorate before the morning we feel this is the safest decision for the children and our drivers, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Northwest Busways have announced the following services will not run tomorrow morning Tuesday 17th January:
Route 952 – 7:20/7:55am from Moville/Carndonagh to Derry.
Route 957 – 7:30/7:55am from Shrove/Moville to Derry
Route 954 – 6.50am from Malin Head to Moville.
Route 953 – 6.30am from Culdaff to Letterkenny.
Route 953 – 7:35/7:45am from Greencastle/Moville to Letterkenny.
